The Hazel Outdoor Discovery Center is proud to be the only site on Delmarva for "National Get Outdoors Day", a national event designed to encourage healthy, active outdoor fun. Participating partners will offer hands-on opportunities for Delmarva kids to experience traditional and non-traditional types of outdoor activities. Kids can learn to safely shoot a gun or bow, cast a fishing rod, paddle a kayak, identify wild animals, and live a healthy lifestyle. Free lunch will be provided to all, and free HODC t-shirts will be given to the first 400 kids.
